Disabled mother's long-awaited journey home

Donors visited Zhang Yanli and her son in their rented house in Urumqi, Northwest China's Xinjiang autonomous region on Jan 8, 2017 to give them train tickets to Zhang's hometown. Zhang, 41, is a native of Xincai county, Central China's Henan province, moving to Xinjiang for work five years ago. She lost her hands in an accident three years ago. [Photo/VCG] |
