The second ITF Junior Masters will take place in the Sichuan International Tennis Center in Sichuan province from April 8 to 10.
Li Na who won two Grand Slam singles titles at the 2011 French Open and 2014 Australian Open will be present in the center in the Shuangliu district of Chengdu, capital of Sichuan, as the publicity ambassador of the Second ITF Junior Masters.
She will observe the matches and present awards to the winners of the men's and women's events, according to organizers.
Based upon rankings of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) at the end of 2015, eight boys and eight girls have qualified to take part. They include Katie Swan from Great Britain and Casper Ruud from Norway.
The players will compete in a knockout competition over the course of three days, with each player guaranteed three matches to determine their final position.
The inaugural ITF Junior Masters was held in the Sichuan International Tennis Center from April 3 to 5, with Andrey Rublev from Ruassia and Xu Shilin from China winning the men's and women's events respectively.
