Brazil, Britain to exchange experience in football

BRASILIA -- Brazil and Britain agreed on Thursday to exchange information on football, including links between both national associations in the training of soccer players and referees.

The agreement was announced by British Premier Minister Gordon Brown after his meeting in Brasilia with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

According to Brown, one of the main points of the agreement is the exchange of experience in organizing major events of both countries, such as London Olympics in 2012 and Brazil World Cup in 2014.
