Suns oust Lakers, Spurs eliminate Nuggets(Reuters)Updated: 2007-05-03 14:34 The Phoenix Suns eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers from the playoffs on Wednesday, while the San Antonio Spurs also advanced by beating the Denver Nuggets. The Suns and Spurs both won their respective Western Conference best-of-seven series 4-1 and will play each other in the next round. Amare Stoudemire had 27 points and 16 rebounds as the Suns beat the visiting Lakers 119-110. Shawn Marion added 26 points and 10 rebounds and Steve Nash had 17 points and 10 assists. Kobe Bryant had 34 and Lamar Odom 33 for Los Angeles. San Antonio topped Denver 93-78 with Michael Finley hitting a franchise-record eight three-pointers and scoring 26 points. Tim Duncan added 23 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson each scored 21 points for the Nuggets.
