NEW YORK - The streaking San Antonio Spurs won their 12th straight game, getting 19 points from Tony Parker in a 93-77 win over the slumping New Jersey Nets on Saturday in San Antonio.

The Spurs' balanced attack had 12 different players scoring as they cruised to the win after holding the Nets to just 33 first-half points to take a 42-33 edge at the half.

San Antonio (45-18) stretched that advantage to 14 points after three quarters and held the Nets to just 42 percent shooting, although the Nets did manage to close the gap to seven points early in the fourth quarter before the Spurs again took control.

Tim Duncan had 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Spurs, but he played just 33 minutes. Manu Ginobili added 12 points and Brent Barry added 11 for the Spurs.

Vince Carter led the Nets, losers of five straight games, with 17 points, while Mikki Moore added 14 and Josh Boone contributed 11 points and eight rebounds.

But frustration set in for Nets star Jason Kidd, who managed just seven points before being ejected in the third quarter. Head coach Lawrence Frank was also tossed out of the game.

New Jersey (28-35) has dropped to third place in the Atlantic Division standings during the losing streak, while the Spurs have not gained any ground in the Southwest Division as the Dallas Mavericks are currently on a 16-game winning streak.

San Antonio has now beaten the Nets nine straight times overall.

*The New York Knicks moved into a tie for eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings as Steve Francis hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to help the Knicks edge the Washington Wizards 90-89.

*The Memphis Grizzlies snapped a six-game losing streak with a 115-107 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Pau Gasol had 31 points and 15 rebounds for the winners.

*The Philadelphia 76ers won their seventh straight game and handed the Indiana Pacers their eighth straight loss by beating Indiana 100-96.

*Josh Smith had a career-high 32 points as the Atlanta Hawks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 99-97.
