A man riding an electric vehicle intentionally hit the front of a car and fell off, just to check if someone would help him on Lei Feng Day, a day commemorating the loyal PLA soldier and urging a caring spirit of mutual help, on March 4, 2014, in Chengdu city, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province. The man, who was uninjured, got up by himself about ten minutes later as no one helped or called police to report the accident. Many passersby stopped and watched. The man, surnamed Zhang, said he made a living by spotting newsworthy stories and feeding tips to journalists.
