A fire in a dormitory for railroad workers in northern China killed 10 people.
The blaze began late Monday night in Hohhot,?Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and was brought under control within 30 minutes, fire department officials said, according to?Xinhua News Agency.
Fourteen other workers in the dorm were hospitalized for burns, with six severely injured, it said. The workers were part of a crew building a railway tunnel.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Xinhua said.
