Liu Cixin, author of Chinese sci-fi bestseller The Three-Body Problem has recently published his newest work, Science Essays of Liu Cixin (literal translation).
This new book, published by Sichuan Publishing House of Science and Technology, includes essays about Liu’s inspiration and insights in sci-fi writing, as well as nearly 30 critiques published since he started to write science fiction. It sets sights on comparison of Chinese and foreign science works as well as the prospects of Chinese science fictions.
Liu Cixin, from Shanxi province, is the first Asian writer to win the Hugo Award, the highest honor for sci-fi works.
