Positive Energy, the campus fitness studio, is striding forward in its bid to promote healthy living on campus?and reach more people in need of fitness guidance.
Vice-Premier Liu Yandong recently visited Ocean University of China?(OUC) based in Qingdao,?Shandong province,?and attended the college students' innovation and entrepreneurship achievements exhibition, where PE team members presented their project to the vice-premier. Liu gave high praise to the fitness studio.

"No matter how difficult it is, we will keep on pushing forward our scientific fitness project on campus," said Jiang Zhuojun, founder of the PE project.
The project, which aims to promote healthy living on campus, is renowned at?the?OUC.?
Jiang is an OUC student who is currently pursuing a double major in marketing and sports science.
In 2015, Jiang and her friends founded the PE campus fitness studio in order to provide scientific guidance on exercise and a healthy diet to students and teachers on campus.
PE promotes a style of exercise called "light fitness", which is designed to be accessible to anyone regardless of their level of fitness, income level or time constraints.
Many people are put off doing exercise because they do not enjoy sports at school, or they do not have access to sports facilities or do not have enough disposable income.
Light fitness solves this problem by allowing practitioners to do exercise according to their interests and habits, wherever they want, whenever they want.
PE advocates the idea that you don't need expensive training fields or equipment to stay fit. All you need is the right knowledge, and you'll be able to fit exercise into even the most hectic schedule.
Similar to many start-ups, PE initially struggled due to shortage of capital, lack of advertising, and the difficulty of educating its customers.
Luckily, Jiang and her friends received plenty of support from OUC's leaders and teachers,?a Peking University entrepreneurship training camp and fitness training institutions.
PE campus fitness studio has now held 14 sports training camps for nearly 400 trainees since it was founded two years ago.
As the PE team gain experience, they are gradually finding better ways to run the business more efficiently.
PE's debut at the college students' innovation and entrepreneurship achievements exhibition has raised the project's profile on campus.
Innovation means breaking the mold and challenging oneself. Jiang and her friends have sought to do this by obtaining OneFit Senior Personal Trainer Certification, Physical Fitness Trainer Certification and other professional certifications over the last two years.
"Fitness is not for showing off but for improving ourselves," said Jiang.
