Singer remembered

It has been 20 years since the passing of Wong Ka-kui, lead singer and guitarist of the legendary Hong Kong band Beyond. To honor him, as well as the band, a tribute concert will celebrate the memory of Wong. Cover band June Day promises to stage plausible renditions of the band's simple, truthful pieces.

8 pm, July 20. Yugong Yishan, 3-2 Zhang Zizhong Road, Dongcheng district, 010-8402-8477

Exhibits for thought

An exhibition titled Death Camp showcases exhibits related to World War II from the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum. The event organizer hopes the event will trigger visitors to ponder wars and their atrocity.

9 am-4:30 pm, until Sept 7. Museum of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, 101 Inner Street of Wanping Fortress, Lugou Bridge, Fengtai district. 010-8389-3163
