5月12日下午，在人民大會(huì)堂東門外廣場舉行的歡迎土庫曼斯坦總統(tǒng)庫爾班古力?別爾德穆哈梅多夫來訪的儀式上，來自三軍儀仗隊(duì)的13名女隊(duì)員精彩亮相。她們和男隊(duì)員組成151人最大陣容的儀仗隊(duì)，接受了兩國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人的檢閱。這是我國歷史上的首批儀仗女兵。

The first group of 13 female members of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Honor Guard made their debut on Monday.
我國首批13名人民解放軍儀仗隊(duì)女兵周一首次亮相。
儀仗隊(duì)（Honor Guard），也叫Ceremonial Guard，是軍隊(duì)中執(zhí)行禮儀任務(wù)的分隊(duì)，由陸、海、空三軍人員共同組成，象征著國家或軍隊(duì)的最高禮儀。儀仗隊(duì)供到訪元首檢閱（provide detachments for review by visiting heads of state）是其常見的任務(wù)之一。
中國人民解放軍三軍儀仗隊(duì)（Combined Honor Guard of the People's Liberation Army）與軍樂隊(duì)（military band），禮炮隊(duì)（gun salute unit）共同承擔(dān)不同規(guī)格的司禮任務(wù)。
