The contest, co-hosted by Beijing Publishing Group and Foto-Video Digital Photography magazine, was launched on Aug 8 to look for the photographic works that can best represent the residents, architecture and lifestyle in China's traditional villages, calling for the public to pay more attention to the protection of such villages.
The final winners will be published in a photography book.
