A thief looted a cafe in Bazhong, Sichuan province, three times over an eight-day period, walking away with six tablet computers, one notebook computer and more than 20 cartons of cigarettes worth nearly 60,000 yuan ($9,830), the West China Metropolis Daily reported.
According to security camera footage, the thief first broke into the cafe at 3 am on Oct 18, and stole two tablet computers, more than 2,000 yuan in cash and several cartons of cigarettes.
At 2 am on Oct 24, the thief forced open the door of the cafe but left empty handed after an alarm sounded.
The thief broke in a third time on Oct 26, taking four tablet computers and one notebook computer.
Police are investigating the case, the West China Metropolis Daily said.
