Over 50 square kilometers of cotton fields are producing a bountiful harvest season at a town in Toksun county of Turpan, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Thanks to the widespread adoption of mechanized cotton harvesting technology, the fields are buzzing with the sound of machines efficiently picking cotton. Unlike manual cotton picking, which requires a significant workforce and time, these mechanized cotton harvesters have lowered labor costs and significantly reduced harvesting time.
