The strategic partnership between Georgia and the United Kingdom, and prospects for future cooperation were discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Gareth Ward, the newly appointed UK Ambassador to the country.
The Government head thanked the UK for its “strong support” for Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity and policy of non-recognition of the Russian-occupied territories, the Government Administration said.
Kobakhidze also wished the British diplomat success in his mission.
