Dali 120th Anniversary World Tour kicks off Beijing exhibition
The Dali 120th Anniversary World Tour China Beijing Station kicked off at China World Mall on Friday to commemorate one of the most influential surrealist artist of the 20th century.
Salvador Dali was a Spanish surrealist artist renowned for his technical skill, precise draftsmanship, and the striking and bizarre images in his work. His creativity in Tianma Starry Sky blends his unique interpretation of the world into sculpture, installation, jewelry art, and even images, forming Dali's artistic philosophy.
The exhibition in Beijing features a total of 142 exhibits, including 23 sculptures, 95 Illustration book prints, 6 installation art pieces, 9 jewelry artworks, and 9 fashion artworks created by globally designers to pay tribute to Dali. The total value of the exhibits exceeded 100 million yuan.
With visual and audio background, the audience can enjoy a dreamlike world. Dali's classic artistic images such as "Eternal Memory" and "Space Elephant" are presented in the form of sculptures, intertwined with Dali's most common image symbols such as melting clocks, canes, snails, angels, butterflies, etc., forming a wonderful artistic maze.
