Chinese artists to be featured during Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Three sections on Chinese culture and Chinese artists will be featured during this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, providing opportunities for Chinese artists and art troupes to engage with the Scottish arts scene, announced China Arts and Entertainment Group and Asian Art Fund Scotland.
Chinese artists from various fields, including theater, music and literature, will be introduced to the festival. Chinese audiences will also have a chance to enjoy featured works during the festival through online viewing.
The cooperation will also cover a 5-year-long program that supports young artists and training of talents in art management.
First launched in 1947, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe has grown to become the largest arts festival in the world, presenting an array of plays, performances and exhibitions for three weeks every August.
Asian Art Fund Scotland is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) supporting and championing Asian artists and art forms in Scotland.
